Public Notice The County of La Salle, County Commissioners Court, is accepting applications for the position of Sheriff-unexpired term. The applicant must be U.S. Citizen, at least 18 years of age, must meet TCLEOSE requirements, reside in the jurisdiction and must have a high school diploma or equivalent. It is preferred that the candidate have administrative experience in managing personnel and be able to manage available resources. Employee will be subject drug testing upon employment. Applications should be submitted to the County Judge Joel Rodriguez, Jr., 101 Courthouse Square, Cotulla, Texas 78014 830-879-4430 and the County & District Clerk by 5:00pm on September 27, 2006 with interviews by a screening committee on September 29, 2006 at 1:00pm at the La Salle County Commissioners' Court and the selection on September 29, 2006 at 5:30 pm. Compensation will be negotiable with experience for fiscal year 2007.
