Sheriff Victor S. Villarreal

The LaSalle County Jail is located at 703 N. Main in Cotulla at the Roy Alonzo Sturgess Law Enforcement Center.  The building also contains the administration offices and the emergency telecommunications dispatch center.  In the near future, we expect to also house the Emergency Management Command Center.

The jail has approved capacity of 47 beds.  Currently the jail is used mainly to house prisoners for the United States Marshals Service.  Local inmates are housed here as well, when space permits, or transferred to nearby counties including Atascosa County, Dimmit County or Zavala County.
